We decided to drive to Santa Land with the boys tonight. Logan and I went last year and we were excited to show the big boys the cool lights. We had to wait in a long line last year so we were expecting a long line tonight. We were pleasantly surprised that we had a short wait. The kids enjoyed it. It was a great family night. I wish I could upload video showing the lights dancing to music.
Happy Thanksgiving from the Foster's! We are celebrating with my Kell side of the family tomorrow so I decided to make a dinner for just Ryan and I and our boys today.
This is the first time I have made the entire meal by myself. I brined the turkey this year and let me tell you...the turkey was the bomb! It was the moistest turkey I have ever eaten. I got creative with a few things this year. I added cranberries and apples to the stuffing and made a different sweet potato casserole recipe. The new items were a hit...I think...they ate it...of course my children are like goats, they eat anything!
Our menu consisted of turkey, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes casserole, green bean casserole, corn casserole, yeast rolls, deviled eggs, and fudge cake. Logan said, "that meal was delicious"!
I love my little family...okay 4 big boys isn't really little. I am blessed to be their mom.

Corbin rededicated his life to the Lord and signified that decision in baptism this morning. This young man amazes me in everything he does. I am so proud of him and the man he is becoming. God blessed me beyond measure when he gave me this child. I am so proud to know that his heart and life belong to God. Ryan and I are blessed to be his parents.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whosoever believeth in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life"-John 3:16
Ryan and I went to Wal-Mart after church to get groceries and my sweet boys started setting up for Christmas! I usually put up the trees the day after Thanksgiving but we will be out of town on Friday so I had decided to do it Tuesday. My boys had a different plan. I love that they get excited about Christmas. My mom always made the Christmas season magical and I have always tried to do that for my boys. I realized today that I succeeded in one of my parenting goals. They were excited to get the stuff out and get the Christmas magic going! My hope is that someday when I'm gone they will tell their kids and grandkids about all the special things we did when they were kids at Christmas time. My mom passed the magic to me and I'm passing it to them! I love my boys.
This kid loves this village!
Shorts always shorts! It can be freezing outside with snow on the ground and this kid will be in shorts!! Mama tried!
Best big brother EVER!!!
