First Day of School 2016

The Foster Four survived the first day of school. Corbin, Trenton, and Logan started yesterday and Braden started today.

Corbin slipped out before Ryan could get a picture. I texted him and told him to send me a first day of school picture and this is what I got!
I told him I wanted one with his whole face and a smile so he sent this!       Mama tried!
Trent was excited to start 10th grade. He has a lot of hard classes but he said the teachers were all really nice.
Logan loved seeing all his friends and having a red locker! Mrs. Stewart has not sent home a note concerning his behavior so Kindergarten is going great...so far! His favorite part is playing on the big playground.
Braden started his first day of college today. He was a good sport and sent me a first day picture.
I can't believe my babies are so grown up. I am proud of my boys. They are a crazy bunch and I love all 4 of them. I have a feeling this is going to be a great school year.

Meet the Teacher 2016

Logan had meet the teacher tonight. My sweet baby is going to be in Kindergarten. He was so excited to meet Mrs. Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was Corbin's kindergarten teacher when he was little. She taught my first and now she's going to teach my last.

She had a form for parents to fill out with information and one of the questions asked...does your child have a nickname? I wrote--he will tell you to call him Deathstroke or J-Money, just say NO!  Logan is a character!

The best news of the night was when he saw that his locker was red and he shares it with his best friend Bryston. I'm guessing Mrs. Stewart may have heard about the red locker drama in pre-k.

2 cool 4 school
Mrs. Stewart and Logan. I'm sorry Mrs. Stewart, I didn't notice your eyes were closed in the picture until I got home. I promise to make it up to you...I promise great teacher gifts all year!!!

Happy Birthday Chanda

Today is Chanda's birthday. She is celebrating her first birthday in heaven. Our family lost Chanda almost a year ago. I miss her so much. I love to look at timehop but this year it makes me sad when I see comments that Chanda wrote. I miss that she is not here to laugh about the funny things our kids did.

We miss you Chanda and love you. Happy heavenly birthday!

Saturday Morning Lights

I can't believe this is really happening...I am the mother of a football player!!! Logan is playing flag football. We are so excited about spending this fall watching Saturday morning football games.

Logan is so excited about football. We told Logan that the rules said you couldn't play football unless you slept in your own bed and made your own sandwiches. Judge away if you must but I'm telling you it's a whole new world at the Foster's!!! Logan has slept in his own bed all week and I haven't had to make one sandwich in a week! I know your thinking he should have been in his bed years ago...I agree, but he's my baby (roll your eyes, I can't see you!) The sandwich thing may seem a little strange. He eats around 4-5 sandwiches a day...growing boy! I literally was making sandwiches non-stop! He only likes mayonnaise and ham, no cheese. I taught him how to make a sandwich and we put the ham and mayonnaise on the bottom shelf so he could reach it easily. Life changer people, life changer! He is so proud that he can make his own sandwich. I giggle when I hear him in the kitchen singing as he puts mayonnaise on his sandwich, he sings "dot, dot, not a lot!"

Logan has followed the football "rules" so we started practices.

He got hot at the first practice and threw up, but loves football! I can't wait to cheer for my #5!

RCBC VBS

I'm a little late posting about VBS because it's been back to school for mommy this week!

Logan attended VBS at our church. The theme was a farm theme. He had a good time and is still singing the songs. I love hearing my baby in the backseat singing songs about our Lord.

The church had a petting zoo
I fell in love with this pig...Ryan said NO!

He learned the song "I am a C, I am a CH", etc. He loves to sing the song but never remembers the correct order the letters go...it is hilarious to listen to.
