Daddy's in TROUBLE

Yesterday was my sweet baby boy's 6th Birthday. I took cupcakes and juice to his class to celebrate the day with his friends.

Albertson's made the cutest cupcakes. I always order monster cupcakes for his birthday at school because he was born so close to Halloween and we call him our little spook.
He was so excited when we got there and he ran up and hugged me and said thanks for my cupcakes mom...be still my heart.

As I was leaving I was taking pictures of all the cute Halloween crafts in the hall. I love my little skeleton.
His class made the cutest bats and they hung them in the hall with a picture of themselves hanging like bats. Super cute idea by their teacher Mrs. Stewart.
This my friends is where Daddy got himself in trouble. Ryan is off every other Friday and on those days Mommy takes a much needed break and lets Daddy get Logan ready for school. I have a little extra time on those days and get to stop for the occasional Starbucks. I'm not completely checked out because I know my husband has no sense of fashion and is colorblind, so I lay out Logan's outfits on those days. As I looked closely at my cute boy hanging upside down with a huge grin on his face, a game day jersey, and shorts, I gasp...his shorts are on backwards, BACKWARDS!!! How does that happen and a grown man not notice that situation. Shoes on the wrong feet, I get it, it happens to the best of us, but shorts on backwards.
He will try to tell people he didn't do this, but if you know my family then you know...Casey did NOT do this!

I love him for being so helpful but Daddy is in trouble!

Happy 6th Birthday Logan

My baby is 6 today!!! Time flies when your having fun. He is such a blessing to our family. He has changed so much this year. He is in Kindergarten and learning to read. He can ride his bike without training wheels. He has sleepovers with friends. He hates learning to tie his shoes. The one thing that hasn't changed is he still loves to snuggle with mommy. Logan is full of life and makes this world a better place. Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Maud Royal Walk

Logan was chosen by his Kindergarten classmates to walk with his friend Chloe in the Royal Walk. They looked so cute together and they won! The Royal Walk is a tradition in our little community. Each class chooses a prince and princess and those children walk together and they choose a king and queen.
Corbin was chosen to walk in the Royal walk when he was in Mrs. Stewart's Kindergarten class also. The jacket Corbin is wearing is the same jacket Logan wore. My mom calls me a hoarder but I held on to that little jacket knowing it would be needed again!
I was chosen for the Royal Walk in Kindergarten and won too. My brother was also chosen in Kindergarten. Kindergarten is a lucky year for our family.
Ryan was chosen in 5th grade. He walked with our friend Mandy Jordan but I couldn't find a picture of them together.
Our little guy looked so handsome.
Logan and Chloe grabbed hands as soon as they saw each other and I don't think they let go until it was over.
They read a little write up about each child while they were on stage. The last question asked...what do you want to be when you grow up? Most of the kids said doctor, veterinarian, author, etc...not my kiddo! Logan said he wanted to be the principal!!! He said Mr. Sanders will be really old when he gets big and will need to stay home so he will be the new principal! Lord help us all.
They smiled from ear to ear the entire time.
All of the kiddos did a great job and looked so cute.
The 2016 King and Queen for the primary building.
Logan's best buddy Nolan was chosen by the other Kindergarten class. I'm so glad the boys got to do this together.
His big brothers came to cheer for him. We sent pics to Braden since he couldn't be there.
We are so proud of our little guy.
He was excited that Ian was there. I don't think he cared that the rest of the family was there just Ian!
We came home to change clothes and he went to a camp out sleepover at his best buddy Turner's. It was the perfect end to a great night.
He thinks we should all call him King Logan from now on! Does that make me the Queen Mother?

...Be Still My Heart ❤️

I have been very sick the last few weeks.  I woke up to find this beautiful rose from my son. It made my day. I often wonder if the boys realize I'm the only girl in our house and like girlie things like flowers. Corbin knew just what I needed to feel better.

T High T-Bots

Trent has joined the Texas High T-Bot team. Trent has loved Lego's his whole life so this is perfect. He did robotics for years in elementary and middle school but has been so involved in swim the last few years he hasn't done robotics. I'm excited that  he has a able to do both this year.

I was able to snap a few pics the other day.

Taste of Texarkana 2016

Our family loves going to Taste of Texarkana every year. We love trying foods from area restaurants. We like to try everything and then vote on what we liked best. This year was the first year that my dad, Ryan, and Logan got to go. Corbin had to work so he missed the fun this year.

This is a list of the vendors that were there.
Trent and I were the first to arrive and got in line. Can you believe my sweet boy is taller than me!
Grandma, Grandpa, and Logan
Ryan and Trent.
Casey and her boys

Logan giving Meme sugars.
We had a great time and can't wait for next year!
