Vacation 2017-Day 6

We started our day with a trip for the little guys.

We were being silly waiting for Scott, Dawn, & Nolan.

We went on a pirate ship!!! ☠️

Our little pirates.

The kids were learning how to be "real" pirates.

Nolan got to help raise the flag.

The cannon was loud!

Scott and Ryan watching the little pirates.

The water was beautiful.

The kids were shooting water guns.

These are two mischievous faces!

Captain Hook

They painted a scar on Logan.

Logan entered me in a hula hoop contest! Mama tried! He was so proud of me.

I would have been great if I had taken my purse off!

They took us downstairs to see the treasure. I loved this part because it was air conditioned downstairs.

They told the kids they were looking for more treasure that Blackbeard had left here and needed their help finding it.

The kids are looking for treasure.

They found it.

They all got a piece of the treasure.

Logan got to do a happy dance for finding the treasure.

Our boys sword fighting.

We were all fixed up for dinner.

We ate at The Melting Pot. It is a fondue restaurant.

We all had different colored skewers to use so we would know whose food belonged to who. We got tickled that Scott got the pink skewers.

The first course was our cheese fondue. We could pick two for our table because we had two pots. We chose Bacon Jalapeño and Caribbean. The s cond course was our salad course. We joked that my parents were "smoking pot" because their pot began to heat up and smoke first.

The third course was the entree we had several different meats to cook in s broth. We chose Coq Au Vein and Mojo. The meat cooked in 2-3 minutes and the shrimp in 1 minute because the broth is boiling. They gave us several different sauces to try.

The fourth course was dessert. It was the chocolate fondue. We chose the flaming turtle and Dark Chocolate and sea salt. Delicious!!!

This is the Flaming Turtle!

We had a great time and it was a fun experience. I'm not sure my dad loved it...he kept saying I can't believe we paid that much money to cook our own food!!! It is a fun experience for special occasions.
Great food, great friends, great night!!!
